Its so nice to see old friends (literally old nga sila hahahaha). Naging reunion and di binyagan ang nangyari last Saturday (25 march). Saw  previous officemates from AOL and syempre yung mga friends ko dun, Mommy Khaye and Coach Adrian (parents ng inaanak ko), Crispy (may kumare) and shey.  I was able to introduce them to Ivy. One of my closest and masasabi kong TRUE friend ( Miss Dhel na buntis) is there, as expected kwentuhan.. kwentuhan at kwentuhan ang nangyari. Almost 7 PM na and di parin matapos tapos ang kwentuhan pero kailangan ng umalis kasi si buntis di pwedeng gabihin masyado. Me and Ivy decided na hatid sya and samahan maggrocery, syempre para bonding parin. Saw Kuya Dan and his friend sa Nepo Mall , sayang di kami nakapagusap or kamustahan man lang. A little background lang for my Kuya Dan, he is one of my closest friend in pampanga, skul mate, gym mate and ka chokaran ever kahit lagi kaming nagcocompete pag may singing contest sa HOLY ANGEL, aminado naman akong mas magaling ang Kuya Dan ko saludo ako dyan. A good Singer, CPA and Professor sa Holy, saan ka pa diba.

 

11:45 AM na wala parin magawa sa work, Ivy is in a  meeting wala akong makausap sa phone, sawa na din ako sa mga tao dito sa work (JOKE) texted kuya Romel and Lindsey (also my good friends), kamustahan and konting text kwento hehehe. it feels good to see and stay in touch with friends, knowing walang communication and not seeing each other for 1 or 2 years still andun parin sila, for better and for worse, accepted what I am and what I have despite of the negative kwentos that they've been hearing about me when I left pampanga. Miss Dhel, Kuya Dan, Kuya Romel and Lindsey as promised, sa holy week bonding tayo  and I owe all of you kwentos (alam nyo na kung ano yun) hehehehe…

Haaayyy.. summer na naman, as expected tuloy parin ang pagpasok sa skul.. 4 months to go mamakuha ko na yung certificate and hopefully maging CCNA certified... I know… I know, daming  nagtataka why im still studying kahit I have a stable and good paying job,  well “ gusto ko lang, paki nyo ba.. hahaha” JOKE.. The fact na computer science graduate ako, I owe it to myself  na laging updated sa field ko. I told myself.. “POT kung kailan ka tumanda saka ka nagpursiging magaral”, actually dami pang dapat pagaralan.. after my CCNA im planning to take up DATABASE MANAGEMENT at UP, CCNP and CCIE  pati ata foreign languages gusto kong pagaralan. Ivy told me isa isa lang mahina ang kalaban, mauubos ang kaban sa pag aaral, pero ok lang FOR THE FUTURE naman.. pagnatapos ko to ikaw ivytot ang magiging plain housewife hahahaha. Thankful ako for having such a wonderful wife, very supportive and understanding kahit sa busy sched naming dalawa we see to it na we have enough time for each other  kahit 12 am na kami nakakauwi sa bahay and 3 am na natutulog ok lang basta makapaglaro lang ng badminton kahit di kami pumapayat hahahaha. Sya sya.. balik work na ulit.. SIGNING OFF..

I received a text message  8:30 PM while walking sa kahabaan ng main avenue sa cubao. " Gud PM, dis may be a short totice pero pwede ka bang maging ninang sa baby namin",  Mami Khaye, I was so happy  kasi isa ako sa napili nyang maging Godmother ng anak nya eventhough sa text lang kami nagkukumustahan and almost a year na din kaming di nagkikita since I transferred here in manila. Buti nalang Ivy and I decided na umuwi sa pampanga. Well, the more inaanak the more blessings diba.. kaya panawagan  sa mga kaibigan ko dyan… ehem ehem ehem.. hahahaha..  GUD PM sa lahat…

It is a given that men love their toys and tools as much as they care about their family jewels.

But it is not just the guys who are naturally drawn to those sleek, smooth-driving sexy things cruising down the highway or those big lumbering 4x4 monsters thundering down the steep offroad paths.

A giant in the manufacture of SUVs, Land Rover, for instance, has experienced a noticeable increase of female customers expressing interest in their brand.

According to Ivy Monette Claveria, branch manager of an Ortigas dealership that sells Jaguar and Land Rover in the Philippines, more and more women are stepping into their showroom and checking their 3-door hardback/softback Freelander.

Priced at around P2.6 m, Freelander is Land Rover’s entry-level SUV merited for its offroad capability, offering drivers the comfortable handling of a sedan, even in rough terrains.

Similarly, Jaguar’s X-Type sedan is a favorite among single career women, who want to graduate from using Japanese cars.

“We’ve noticed that whenever a couple enters our showroom, the women or wives would likely choose the Jaguar over other brands,” beamed Claveria. “We’ve found out that those who prefer Jaguar has a different level of awareness and wants to experience premier exclusivity.”

Claveria also believes that the taste of women in cars is the same with men’s. “Women love the uniqueness of the design, especially Jaguar’s interiors, which is a marriage of tradition and innovation,” related Claveria. “They’re not particular with the engine. They are more concentrated with the exterior, the paint, how the car would look out on the streets, etc.”
